Kun Iam Tong, Macau, China |
At the Kun Iam Temple on Macau, an active Buddhist shrine
to the Goddess of Mercy (Kun Iam). Originally founded in
the 13th Century A.D., the current buildings date to the
early 1600s. Director Ben Calmes offered two of the red
candles burning on the right side of the offering vessel.
Notice the coils of incense hanging from the ceiling.
